Commencing in March each year, the program is primarily based at AWI’s head office in Sydney. Graduates gain exposure across all areas of the business, including On-Farm Research and Development, Processing Innovation, Education and Extension, Consultation and Engagement, Global Marketing, Digital, Measurement and Evaluation, and Business Services.

A standout feature of the program is the opportunity for international rotations. Graduates gain global exposure by visiting key supply chain hubs across Asia and Europe. In addition, the program includes ongoing professional development to support long-term career growth within the industry.

The program is designed for graduates from a broad range of disciplines, particularly those with a background in or connection to the Australian wool industry.

A Message from Bryan Fry - CEO

"Our graduate program provides one of the best opportunities for some of Australia's most talented individuals to see firsthand the career opportunities that are available in the global wool industry, of which Australia is the leader. By experiencing and learning about the supply chain from farm to fashion, our aim is to provide an opportunity where we can grow the talent pool in our industry whilst providing valuable career training and insight for individuals."
